Started as a hobby, Patrick Sr. was inspired by the stained glass he was routinely surrounded by as a master mason specializing in restoration work. Working on stone and brick buildings dating from the turn of the last century through 40's and 50's, when stained was being widely utilized as art for windows and lamps. The small corner of the basement, surrounded by the woods of Michigan, grew and changed into a glass studio filled with natural light.

Now, the second generation, (Patrick Jr. and son), is moving the studio to the web. Creating custom designed windows and three-dimensional stained glass with reinforced copper foil (Tiffany style) fabrication.

The Shaws will custom design stained glass, professionally crafted to your specifications of color, style, pattern, and dimension.

Custom windows built to size range in price from $100-$200 per square foot. One and one half inches oak framing is standard for most windows, but is not required. All framing is stained to order. Metal framing is available.
